Have you heard the exciting news flying around? The NASA Space Apps Challenge is happening again - the 12th edition is set on the 7th and 8th of October 2023!
The event will take place in hundreds of locations worldwide, and in Romania in five cities: physically in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca and online in Timisoara, Iasi, and Oradea.
Space Apps este pentru toata lumea. Inclusiv cei care nu au mai "hackuit" niciodata! Toti cei pasionati de rezolvarea problemelor sunt incurajati sa se alature - studenti, experti, ingineri, creatori, artisti si povestitori. In timp ce unele dintre provocarile hackathon-ului sunt tehnice, altele cer participantilor sa isi foloseasca abilitatile artistice, perspicacitatea in afaceri si imaginatia istorica! Cu alte cuvinte, participantii nu trebuie sa fie programatori sau experti in date pentru a face parte din Space Apps. De fapt, cele mai diverse echipe sunt adesea cele mai de succes.

Why should you join us?
- You have the chance to compete in the final global contest.
In each of the five cities in Romania, one or two winning teams will be chosen to participate in the global contest where they will compete with over 3,000 teams across the world. The number of teams chosen depends on the number of registered participants.
- You get to work with NASA’s data - and that’s SO cool!
For 48 hours, participants will have access to NASA's public data and work together to find solutions to real problems on Earth and in space.
- You have 31 unique challenges to choose from.
